Our “Kindness” design was inspired by a tradition started the year Joe passed away. Each year on his birthday (March 18th) his aunt, Joelle and cousin, Brett have led family members & friends in performing random acts of kindness in Joe’s memory. Joe was a gentle giant whose kind heart touched many people. They wanted to pass on that kindness. They now hope to inspire others to make March 18th a Random Act of Kindness Day in Joe’s memory and in memory & honor of those who have suffered or are suffering from Alzheimer’s. (The hand in this design is Joe’s actual 4–year-old handprint!)
